Making myself a better me and puttin on that bathing suit this summer... Lol... The skies the limit and I'm ready... So I wish you all a very Happy and safe New Year!!!!

CHRISTMAS WISH LIST

Just a few of my favorite things...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been a minute since I have written on my blog. These past few weeks have been very busy with finishing up school with taking finals for the semester, Christmas shopping and just had a lot going on that haven't gotten me here. I haven't been able to get workouts in at all last week, so I have to start my T25 over from Week 1 beginning on December 30, 2013.I also have gained a few pounds and I want to end the new year out strong and begin 2014 even stronger. Eliminating some negativity in my life and continuing my weight loss and fitness journey. I will be flexing in my tank top and skinny jeans in the summer of 2014. That's a promise!!!   I wanted to take the time out to say to everyone, Merry Christmas!!! Enjoy your family and friends and appreciate them because there is someone out here that has no one to celebrate this day of love and the gift of giving with. Also, most importantly remember the reason for this season.

The depressing battle of the batwings and how to get rid of them

Has anyone other than myself lift up their arms and had that little flabby skin as which they call "Batwings"?... Well, for most women it is a major issue, especially for those of us who have lost a large amount of weight and didn't incorporate enough weight training into our workouts while losing the weight. No woman wants flabby, unaesthetic arms. I found a 12 week program for toning the arms, which I will be adding to my already clean eating and workout routine with Shaun T.. T25 that is..  This routine will hopefully help me to tone and build muscles so that when the summer comes I will be able to flex and wear my tank top without a cover up. Something I have been wanting to do for years but too ashamed of my arms to do so. I am very determined to have me some very toned and sexy arms. How about you? I found this routine on www.muscleandstrength.com Weeks 1 to 4 - Lower Volume, 6 to 10 rep sets. Weeks 5 to 8 - Higher Volume, 10 to 15 rep sets. W

Day 4 T25

Whew!!!!!! Shaun T got me tonight.. It was Abs night , which was very challenging for me.. But I made it through... Can't say that I nailed it though... I'm going to keep at it until I can nail it... Abs and sit ups are one of my weakest points...and I will challenge myself to build up my upper body strength so that I can get better in these areas... And working out with Shaun T with some weight lifting will hopefully get me there... #stayingfocused #keepingitfit

T25 Day 1

Day 1 of T25 completed!!! It wasn't as bad as I thought.. ( The working out at home part, that is).. :-) I made it through the whole 25 minutes.. I did have to stop and take a few breathers but my finishing is all that matters.. I know as time goes by I will last through them all but this is just day 1 of the Alpha session which is the first 5 weeks. Patience and consistency is the key...

T25 Baby!!!

I haven't posted anything in a few days... Trying to get my body back into work mode... I was on vacation for 6 days and it's always hard getting back into the groove of things... But guess what I have.. You guessed it...  That's right!!!! T25 BABY!!!!! It's about to go down... I still have a goal set for myself and a 29in waist line is one of them... So this is my new challenge beginning December 9th, I will be starting my 10 weeks of T25.... I will take my measurements and weight on this Saturday and I have to take measurements every Saturday until my challenge is over... I'm not good with at home workouts so that will be a challenge in itself... So wish me luck!!!
