Clean Eating Principles

These principles will guide you through your physique and health transformation. Try your best to follow these guidelines and you are sure to see great weight loss results.

  • Eat 5 - 6 small meals daily.
  • Eat every 2 - 3 hours
  • Combine lean protein and complex carbs at every meal. (Complex Carbs - brown rice, sweet potato, quinoa, etc... no white flour, sugar, etc).
  • Drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of water every day. (ex: if you are 180 lbs you should be drinking 90 ounces of water. More if you are working out).
  • Never miss a meal, especially breakfast.
  • Avoid all over-processed, refined foods, especially white flour and sugar.
  • Avoid all saturated and trans fat. ( read those labels)
  • Avoid sugar loaded pops and juices.
  • Carry a cooler loaded with clean eating foods to get you through the day.
  • Consume adequate healthy fats each day.
  • Avoid alcohol beverages - which is another form of sugar.
  • Avoid all calorie dense foods containing no nutritional value. (donuts, cakes, cookies, chips, etc...)
  • Depend on fruits and vegetables for fiber, vitamins and enzymes.
  • Stick to proper portion sizes - give up the super sizing.. ( Measure your food if you have to).

BORN DAY!!!!!

Today, I celebrate the life of my new baby who was born today October 29, 2013... MY BLOG!!!! I'm so excited!!! This is something that I have been contemplating for years and now I've finally decided to allow the world to follow me on my personal weight loss and healthy lifestyle journey... It has been a very tough and long journey for me, I've decided to stop hiding and share with others who are also going through the struggle of losing weight, or hating to exercise, eating healthy and sometimes even gaining a few pounds back when they have lost the weight... It is an emotional roller coaster for most of us and I want to be here for those who feel that they are out here alone and just to let them know that they are not. You may also help me in ways that you don't even know... So let's get it!!! Down Size it!!!
